“For Macie’s 10th birthday we wanted to surprise her with an activity outside the box for her party. She had recently started playing softball with the Lynden Pride Youth program and we thought it would be great to get her and some friends time in the batting cages. Daniel was kind enough to arrange for Riley Anderson to spend the afternoon with the girls giving pointers as well as allowing them to rotate hitting and pitching. Several of the girls in attendance were already on the Lynden Pride team but thanks to Riley she managed to make such an impact that afterwards we had several more girls sign up to play softball this season.
